Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler with three to five years of experience in complex machine building or repair, automotive engine/transmission repair, or similar work. The ideal candidate will have experience in electronics, programmable controls, pneumatics, and hydraulics. Knowledge of bearings, bearing functions, and proper bearing assembly protocol is essential. Additionally, understanding of G.D. & T. and the ability to read and understand complex blueprints and bill of materials are required.

ResponsibilitiesPrepare component parts for assembly.Balance shafts and rotating components.Inspect component parts as needed.Install motors into spindle housings.Grease and lube specific parts in the assembly process.Enter precise details of information into the computer for quality/inspection reports.Calculate and adjust preload in bearings as required.Essential SkillsThree to five years of experience in complex machine building or repair, or automotive engine/transmission repair work.Experience in electronics, programmable controls, pneumatics, and hydraulics.Knowledge of bearings, bearing functions, and proper bearing assembly protocol.Understanding of G.D. & T.Ability to read and understand complex blueprints and bill of materials.Experience with inspection computer software and ERP systems preferred.Additional Skills & QualificationsMechanical assembly of precise parts and spindles.Proficiency in using mechanical, blueprint, power tools, schematic, hand tools, wiring, and electrical assembling.Why Work Here?

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00
