Assembler

Job Description

Candidate will be performing assembly of product. Work from blueprints, parts lists, and assembly cards. Use parts washers, freezers, ovens, cranes, hand, and power tools. Shim and final assemble units. Can work alone or with other assemblers and oversee lower-grade assemblers. May perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

ResponsibilitiesDisassemble the gearboxes using torque wrenches or impact guns as required.Locate and write down the serial number from each individual part during disassembly.Wash parts to remove wax coating for corrosion protection.Heat parts in an oven to facilitate assembly.Attach specific addons like pumps, wires, and cables as per customer requirements using an impact wrench.Essential SkillsExperience with assembly, mechanical assembly, and using hand and power tools.Ability to read blueprints.Basic math skills, including the ability to explain tool sizes and names.

Work Environment

Work in a modern, clean, and well-lit facility that follows the 5S methodology. The facility is climate-controlled and organized by departments with spacious aisles. Contractors are provided with shirts and are advised to wear jeans/pants that can get dirty. Safety is a top priority, with a requirement to wear safety glasses and masks at all times on-site. The pay range for this position is $20.90 - $20.90
