**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler** **Job Description** + This role is responsible for leading the assembly of components and sub-assemblies of metal parts according to blueprints and job packets. + The successful candidate will have the ability to plan and perform large and complex assemblies with minimal supervision and direct others. + Additional duties include assisting with assigned assembly jobs, performing inspections throughout the entire process to ensure quality, and reducing scheduled time for jobs. + The assembler will also maintain a clean and safe work environment and may operate a variety of hand and power tools such as a band saw, drill press, grinder, and belt sander. **Responsibilities** + Lead the assembly of components and sub-assemblies of metal parts according to blueprints and job packets. + Plan and perform large and complex assemblies with minimal supervision. + Direct others in the assembly process. + Assist with assigned assembly jobs. + Perform inspections throughout the entire process to ensure quality. + Reduce scheduled time for jobs. + Maintain a clean and safe work environment. + Operate a variety of hand and power tools such as a band saw, drill press, grinder, and belt sander. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in reading blueprints. + Experience with hand and power tools. + Mechanical assembly experience. + Ability to perform inspections to ensure quality. **Why Work Here?** + Recently increased all starting pay for all shifts and positions.
