**Hiring experienced Mechanical Assemblers in Colorado Springs!**
**Job Description**
In this role, you will be responsible for assembling vacuum pump systems at floor and/or abatement stations.
1st Shift: 8am-4:30pm Monday through Friday (plus occasional Saturdays)
**Responsibilities**
+ Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
+ Use hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.
+ Identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and perform necessary repairs.
**Essential Skills**
+ High school diploma or equivalent required.
+ 2-5 years of experience in a mechanical field or a related area.
+ Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a mechanical field.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Basic math skills.
+ Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand and power tools.
+ Must pass a mechanical aptitude test; ASE certification is a plus.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in plumbing, drilling, screwing, taping, electrical wiring, pipe-bending, mechanical or cable assembly.
+ Ability to take initiative and follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions.
+ Attention to detail and good listening skills.
+ Ability to read schematics and blueprints.

**Work Environment**
Work in an indoor, temperature-controlled manufacturing facility. The position requires standing or sitting for 8+ hours per day, as well as bending, twisting, squatting, turning, and using hand or power tools. Safety consciousness and awareness of surroundings are essential. The role operates on the 1st shift, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays typically requiring about 6 hours of work.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00
