**Hiring experienced Mechanical Assemblers in Colorado Springs!** **Job Description** In this role, you will be responsible for assembling vacuum pump systems at floor and/or abatement stations. 1st Shift: 8am-4:30pm Monday through Friday (plus occasional Saturdays) **Responsibilities** + Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. + Use hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications. + Identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and perform necessary repairs. **Essential Skills** + High school diploma or equivalent required. + 2-5 years of experience in a mechanical field or a related area. + Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a mechanical field. + Strong verbal and written communication skills. + Basic math skills. + Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand and power tools. + Must pass a mechanical aptitude test; ASE certification is a plus. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in plumbing, drilling, screwing, taping, electrical wiring, pipe-bending, mechanical or cable assembly. + Ability to take initiative and follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions. + Attention to detail and good listening skills. + Ability to read schematics and blueprints. **Why Work Here?** We offer a 401k plan with a 4% employer match after 6 months of employment.
