**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler** **Job Description** Candidates will be performing mechanical assembly of sub-assemblies and large components. You will work both independently and in teams in a specified work area to complete OEM assemblies. Responsibilities include reading and following entry-level blueprints, shop orders, specifications, and other instructions to build and assemble parts and equipment accurately and timely. You will measure parts accurately using scales, micrometers, and calipers, and utilize overhead crane and rigging procedures. **Responsibilities** + Perform mechanical assembly of sub-assemblies and large components. + Work independently and in teams to complete OEM assemblies. + Read and follow entry-level blueprints, shop orders, specifications, and other instructions. + Measure parts accurately using scales, micrometers, and calipers. + Utilize overhead crane and rigging procedures. **Essential Skills** + Ability to read and assemble both sub-assemblies and mid-assemblies from 2D and 3D prints. + Experience using rigging equipment, power tools, and hand tools. + Ability to work independently with limited training. + Must have their own set of tools. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School diploma or equivalent. + Mathematical skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and make metric system conversions. + Knowledge and ability to use hand tools and machine tools such as drill press, band saw, and cut-off saw. + Good oral and written communication skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Why Work Here?** Work in a well-lit facility on newly engineered equipment. Clean and well-lit facility working on new equipment. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $52000.00 Vision Reimbursement: Effective 30 days from your first day of employment Life and AD&D: Effective 30 days from your first day of employment Personal Days: Effective immediately, you are eligible for three (3) personal days. Unused personal days can be carried over year to year up to a maximum of 15 days. Any hours earned in excess of 15 days are paid out annually. Holidays: We provide ten (10) paid holidays per year. 401k Retirement Plan: You are eligible to participate in the 401k plan upon completion of 30 days of eligible service. We offer a traditional pre-tax 401k plan as well as a Roth 401k plan. compensation under the Roth 401k plan. 401k Employer Match: If you make salary deferrals to the plan, the Company will make a safe harbor matching contribution equal to 100% of the amount you contribute up to 4%.
