Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

Candidates will work in the Framing and Crating area. The role involves using tape measures, table saws, chop saws, and other woodworking equipment to build crating units for shipping final products. Candidates must be able to read and follow basic blueprints/drawings and will be cross-trained in various areas, requiring flexibility and a willingness to learn different parts of the process.

ResponsibilitiesUse tape measures, table saws, chop saws, and other woodworking equipment to build crating units.Follow basic blueprints/drawings.Use hand tools, power tools, and silicone caulking guns as needed.Work in various departments and be flexible in learning different parts of the process.Meet overall production goals and daily production goals for respective departments and assembly lines.Handle large pieces of glass/sheet metal, standing and walking for an 8-hour shift.Retrieve materials from outside the yard and perform unit testing in the testing booth.Essential SkillsMechanical aptitude and ability to read a tape measure proficiently.Proficient use of hand and power tools.Experience in construction or home improvement is ideal.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
