**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler** **Job Description** We develop, design, and manufacture specialty engineered equipment for the targeted removal of selenium, nitrate, arsenic, and mercury from water and wastewater associated with power generation and mining. Our systems employ patent-pending and proprietary biological treatment processes, which provide unparalleled efficiency in terms of equipment footprint and water quality. Our advances in biological metals removal technology are saving heavy industry hundreds of millions of dollars today, while improving water quality in our lakes and rivers. **Responsibilities** + Assemble equipment and products while reading prints, drawings, and other written instructions or procedures. + Utilize hand tools such as wrenches and grinders to screw bolts on fixtures. + Troubleshoot, rework, and/or repair assembled equipment according to engineering specification changes. + Handle shipping and receiving tasks when needed. + Maintain a clean and safe work area. + Adapt to changing day-to-day duties based on client-specific custom assembly needs. **Essential Skills** + 1-2 years of mechanical assembly or water equipment familiarity. + Ability to use tools and troubleshoot effectively. + Mechanically inclined. + Must be able to lift 50lbs. + Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly. + Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve problems. + Ability to work as part of a team. + High attention to detail and self-motivated. + Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Knowledge of fabrication is a nice to have. + Candidates with prior mechanical assembly, plumbing, or even military experience are preferred. **Why Work Here?** We offer the potential for long-term employment with a growing business, a relaxed work environment, weekly paychecks, and gated on-site parking. You will be working in a manufacturing/fabrication shop with a small team of 5-8 people. The work attire is relaxed, but steel toe boots, safety glasses, ear plugs, and gloves must be worn at all times while in the shop. The environment includes benches and work stations, but day-to-day duties may change depending on the project. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spring Valley, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
