**Mechanical Assembler - $19-20/hour** **Stockton, CA** **Responsibilities** + Assembles of mechanical components (sheet metal and machine parts, hardware, rivets, and purchased mechanical components) into higher level products. + Follow written or electronic assembly instructions which may be in the form of “MPI”s” (Manufacturing Process Instructions), blueprints, and verbal instructions. + Uses primarily hand tools for assembly, including mechanical tools such as manual, electric, and pneumatic screwdrivers, wrenches, and riveters. + Sets up parts in work area, selects tools required to complete the operation. + Assures accurate logging of labor hours and accurate part quantities into Visual Manufacturing ERP + Ensure proper handling and stacking of parts to avoid damage. **Job Requirements** Education and Experience Requires 1 year of previous assembly work. **Ability to:** read, write and perform basic arithmetic problems. use basic hand, electric, and pneumatic tools used in performing specific operator requirements.
