**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler** **Job Description** We are looking to bring on a Mechanical Assembler/Technician to join our growing team. The candidate will be responsible for working on light and small duty vans and trucks, including HVAC trucks, small UPS and FedEx vans, among other tasks. **Responsibilities** + Work on light and small duty vans and trucks (HVAC trucks, small UPS and FedEx vans). + Perform installation and wiring tasks. + Build shelves in the shop. + Occasionally conduct 12v electrical work. + Use hand and power tools as needed. + Demonstrate a willingness to learn and maintain a positive attitude. + Assist wherever needed. **Essential Skills** + 1 year of mechanical assembly experience. + 1 year of experience utilizing hand and power tools. + Ability to consistently lift 50+ lbs. + Proven reliability. + Coachability and willingness to help where needed. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Electrical experience (12v). + Experience with sit-down forklifts. **Why Work Here?** We offer a small family-type environment where contractors are treated like full-time employees. The environment is small and close-knit, consisting of only three employees currently. The shift time is from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Batavia, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
