Mechanical Assembler | 3rd Shift | $23/hr

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Assembler for our night shift (3rd Shift) in Canton, OH. You will be responsible for the mechanical assembly of semi-finished products to complete machine assemblies of conveyor systems, utilizing hand, measurement, and power tools.

ResponsibilitiesMechanically assemble semi-finished products to complete machine assemblies of conveyor systems.Add various components such as nuts, bolts, couplings, and conveyors to fabricated structures.Utilize hand, measurement, and power tools to complete work.Follow work instructions and read blueprints accurately.Log notes at the end of the day in the computer for the following shift.Essential SkillsProficiency with hand and power tools.Ability to follow work instructions and read blueprints.Mechanically inclined with skills in assembly, machine building, construction, automotive mechanics, or troubleshooting.Experience with mechanical assembly and conveyor maintenance.Good measurement skills and attention to detail.2+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing or automotive mechanics.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of the metric measurement system.Basic computer skills.Nice to have electrical skills.Why Work Here?

Our state-of-the-art facility includes a brand-new addition in 2023. It is clean, well-lit, climate-controlled, and a very safe place to work. We are an independent global manufacturer of spiral conveyor systems for packaging, printing, and bottling, with 135 employees in Canton and plans for growth. We offer training and support with team leads in each department. Shifts available include: 3rd Shift (M-TH 6:30pm-5am)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Canton, Ohio

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.79 - $23.08/hr.
