**Mechanical Assembler - Garland, Tx** **1st Shift - $18-19** **Job Description** Our Client is a leading designer, manufacturer, and distributor of high-quality hydraulic system components. Products include hydraulic power units incorporating electronic control, integrated valve systems, cylinders, motors, and pumps. **Responsibilities** + Operate and learn to use a variety of hand tools, including torque wrench and air hammer + Assemble hydraulic fittings, hoses, and pump motor couplings + Read blueprints and bills of materials accurately + Perform basic mathematical calculations + Lift and load parts onto shelves and assembly tables + Pick inventory from shelves + Use basic computer skills for tasks as needed **Essential Skills** + Ability to read blueprints and bills of materials + Experience with torque wrenches, air hammers, and hand/power tools + Mechanical experience and being mechanically inclined + Heavy mechanical assembly experience + Basic computer skills **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Candidates with automotive experience, such as from Quick Lube, Firestone, etc., tend to excel in this role **Why Work Here?** Enjoy working in a climate-controlled facility with a smaller, mom-and-pop shop feel.
