Job Description
This candidate will start off with inventory during their first week, requiring a lot of attention to detail. After the first week, they will shadow basic assembly tasks, building various parts with the use of hand tools and various chemicals. They will take an order form, pick all the parts needed, and assemble them. Parts range from 1-50 lbs. Once the team is caught up on orders, they will be taught how to build crates using saws and power tools. They could eventually move into the shipping/receiving department where they will learn to use a forklift to unload/load trucks.
ResponsibilitiesMechanical assembly for orders for standard products such as sparkers, spare parts, pilot test equipment, and related piping stationsAssisting the shop supervisor in monitoring inventoryMaintain a clean, safe workplace environmentGeneral maintenance of shop tools and equipmentBuilding crates, packing products, photographing goods to be shipped, and documenting shipping processesLoading and unloading products from trucks and containers, and entering data into the inventory systemInspecting products and rejecting any damaged goodsOperating forklift, hand truck, or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods
Shift TimesTuesday - Thursday 8am-4pm (24hrs minimum per week)
