**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler**
**Location: Fort Collins, CO**
**Shift:**
**-1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM**
**-2nd Shift: 2:15 PM - 10:45 PM**
**Pay: $19 - $22/hr**
**Job Description**
As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling and performing preset calibration and final testing of various products, which may include
small products, light subassemblies, and complete units of a smaller size. You will utilize appropriate tools and equipment to assemble, install, align, adjust, and fit subassemblies and parts or auxiliary equipment as per work instructions. Additionally, you will clean parts, maintain tooling and equipment, and follow work instructions to become certified for the work being performed. This role requires working with close tolerances and fits to meet engineering and operating requirements.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble and perform preset calibration and final testing of products.
+ Install, align, adjust, and fit subassemblies and parts using appropriate tools and equipment.
+ Clean parts and maintain tooling and equipment according to work instructions.
+ Follow work instructions to become certified for the work being performed.
+ Work with close tolerances and fits to meet engineering and operating requirements.
+ Pick and stock parts from stock rooms and place completed parts.
+ Disassemble and handle returned units with supervision.
+ Perform low to moderately complex flow and/or pressure testing of assembly components.
+ Perform test stand preset calibration and final test of products.
+ Perform final assembly of units after testing and record applicable data.
+ Mount units on test stands and perform tests to meet product test requirements.
**Skills**
+ Experience in electrical and mechanical assembly.
+ Experience with automated testing.
+ Familiarity with aircraft part assembly.
+ Production work experience.
+ Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
+ Mechanical assembly skills.
+ Experience reading blueprints (preferred).
+ Manual dexterity.

**Work Environment**
You will be working in a large manufacturing facility equipped with brand new, state-of-the-art equipment. The facility operates on two shifts: 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, and 2nd shift from 2:15 PM to 10:45 PM.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Collins, Colorado.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
