This position is key and very important in the remanufacturing process of transmissions. Your day will be spent performing a wide variety of duties, along with specific tasks as assigned by a manager or supervisor. Our climate-controlled production area ensures a comfortable working environment. **Work Environment** The work environment is a shop setting that may have smells like oil/transmission fluid and can be dirty at times with slippery areas. The facility is climate-controlled year-round and is located in a restructured Walmart. There are multiple lines dedicated to specific business needs, including Lines A & B which handle different transmissions throughout the day, and the 6L Line which remanufactures GM 6L transmissions in a uniform and fast-paced manner. The first shift runs from 6:00am-2:30pm, Monday through Friday. The dress code includes steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, and ear plugs. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
