Our client, a leader in marine manufacturing, is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join their team. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be part of the production department supporting the assembly of essential components. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mechanical Assembler - After Coolers

Location: Wixom, MI

Pay Range: 20+/per hour

What's the Job?

Assemble copper and brass parts used in boat components according to engineering specifications. Apply foam insulation or sealant using a foam gun to ensure proper fit, durability, and airtight sealing. Prepare and clean surfaces before applying foam or adhesives. Inspect assembled parts for quality, ensuring they meet production standards. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to follow assembly instructions.

What's Needed?

Previous experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing, preferably in the marine, automotive, or HVAC industry. Experience using a foam gun or similar sealing/insulating tools (preferred). Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, or schematics. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 30-40 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
