Mechanical Assembler Apprentice
**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler** **Job Description** We're looking for an experienced mechanical assembler to join a non-assembly line crew in a manufacturing environment. Job duties include mechanical assembly, drilling, tapping, riveting, and additional sheet metal assembly duties. Candidates must have experience with quality inspection tools as they will be measuring tolerances prior to assembly. All candidates must be able to work independently off complex blueprints using basic hand and air tools while also working well on a team. **Responsibilities** + Perform mechanical assembly, drilling, tapping, riveting, and sheet metal assembly duties. + Measure tolerances prior to assembly using quality inspection tools. + Work independently off complex blueprints and customer-specific prints. + Use basic hand and air tools effectively. + Lift up to 50 lbs as needed. + Collaborate well with team members in a job shop environment. **Essential Skills** + 1+ years of mechanical assembly in a job shop environment. + 1+ years working straight off blueprints or customer-specific prints. + 1+ years working with basic hand and air tools. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. + Willingness to work overtime on Fridays and some Saturdays. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that values precision and quality in a clean manufacturing environment.
