Job DescriptionThe Installation Technician is responsible for the up-fitting of new vehicles into innovative solutions for a wide range of markets focused on high-quality workmanship which has the potential to positively impact our business growth. ResponsibilitiesFrequent standing, bending, twisting, stooping, and kneelingAssembling truck bodies, routing and installing wire harnesses, partitions, auxiliary batteries, light bars, push bumpers, power supplies, ladder racks, shelving, wall liners, and floorsDisassembling and reassembling factory vehiclesUpholding quality levels that the company and customers requireRecording and maintaining accurate recordsFinding efficiencies while respecting quality and contributing ideas to the companyRecording project times with expected levels of accuracy using pictures and/or project-specific information for standard work creation
Skills/Qualifications:Required:1 year Automotive Technician and/or autobody experienceExperience working with automotive mechanical systemsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsStrong mechanical aptitude; Experience working with hand tools and power toolsAssembly and mechanical assembly skillsPreferred:Experience working with automotive electrical systemsAbility to read drawings, including electrical schematics, layout drawings, and work orders with limited help1 year Aftermarket add-on/Up-fitting experienceWhy Work Here?We offer a casual but supportive work environment and competitive compensation and benefits. Work EnvironmentOur facility is new, clean, and organized, similar to an automotive shop without floor cutouts. Long driveways and alleys accommodate vans parked back to back with the back doors open for installations. Some overtime may be required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00
