**Mechanical Assembler pay upto $26/hr** **Job Description** Perform made-to-order assembly operations on medium-sized sheet metal enclosures, such as large refrigerators. Install blowers, motors, hinges, door panels, and electrical and control panels using a basic drill. You will also be responsible for pulling your own parts for each order using a pallet jack and may handle stock released work orders that will be redundant. **Responsibilities** + Inspect, assemble, and deburr sheet metal parts and components. + Perform equipment assembly according to engineering drawings. + Conduct product testing and performance testing, recording the results. + Perform final checks and adjustments for any defects to ensure high-quality products. **Essential Skills** + Assembly + Hand tool usage + Blueprint reading + Power tool usage + Tape measure reading down to 1/16 inch + Torque tools + Drill usage + General labor experience + Electrical assembly **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 1+ year of mechanical assembly experience (open to candidates with construction backgrounds as well) + Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, regularly lifting 35-45 lbs + Independent and problem-solving skills **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a range of benefits including a 2-week vacation, 56 hours of unpaid time per year, health/dental/eye insurance, profit sharing, a 401K plan, and a yearly Christmas bonus of up to $300. Standard working hours are 8am-4:30pm, with occasional shifts starting at 7am or 6am-10am on Saturdays approximately seven times a year. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
