Mechanical Assembly Technician
Mechanical-Assembly Technicians1st or 2nd Shift: Pay Rate - $26/HR TO $30/HR

As a leading global supplier of test and simulation systems, we offer an exciting opportunity for an Assembly Technician. In this role, you will learn to build, repair, diagnose, and test products related to the aerospace, automotive, and biomedical industries. You will engage in mechanical assembly and some electrical testing on actuators, and have the opportunity to train in other departments.

ResponsibilitiesAssemble, configure, test, and calibrate mechanical or electro-mechanical sub-systems according to engineering and manufacturing documentation.Meet standards for quality, efficiency, and schedule.Interpret engineering documents to determine results and processes.Troubleshoot and repair new and customer-owned mechanical sub-systems.Identify and diagnose problems, develop solutions, and resolve performance issues.Estimate repair time and execute repairs accurately.Diagnose, troubleshoot, build, and test actuators, including live hydraulic system testing, recording measurements, and analyzing results.Essential SkillsExperience with power tools in a mechanical setting (e.g., mechanical assembly, auto mechanic).Blueprint reading.Experience with hydraulics.Knowledge of hydro-mechanical subsystems.Ability to read and interpret complex 2D and 3D blueprints and schematics.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00
