Mechanical Assembly Technician
**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler** **Job Description** The Mechanical Assembler will be building and assembling large industrial printers. This role involves assembling mechanical and pneumatic components into sub-assemblies across multiple models within their respective product lines, performing inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and documenting the sub-assemblies prior to releasing them to final assembly. Additionally, the assembler will prepare forms such as material requests and material returns to stock. **Responsibilities** + Assemble mechanical and pneumatic components into sub-assemblies across multiple models inside of their respective product lines. + Perform inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation of the sub-assemblies prior to releasing them to final assembly. + Assemble various components into mechanical sub-assemblies per engineering drawings, schematics, and diagrams. + Prepare forms such as material requests and material returns to stock. **Essential Skills** + Minimum 1 year mechanical assembly experience or experience assembling heavy industrial equipment. + Ability and experience reading diagrams and/or schematics. + Experience working with pneumatic components. + High School Diploma or GED. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Auto mechanic experience is a plus. + Good job tenure. + Experience inspecting parts with micrometers, hole test gauges, calipers, thread and plug gauges, indicators, telescoping depth gauges, etc. + Troubleshooting experience with high attention to detail. + Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. **Why Work Here?** This is a great opportunity for someone looking to advance their career within the mechanical/electrical field with a reputable company. Training on day shift for 3-4 weeks; 1st Shift is Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm. Clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment, very spacious and fast-paced. Dress code: Steel toe shoes, jeans/pants, and a t-shirt (no shorts). **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chesterfield, Missouri. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
