**1st Shift - Mechanical Assembler - $19/hr+** **_Call 330 224 1231 to set up an interview!_** **Shift:** + 6:00am - 2:30pm **Job Description** + Virtually construct steel buildings. + Build and assemble large 40-foot tall structural steel housing units. + Work safely in a small team of 3-6 people. + Assemble metal wall panels to a metal frame. + Cut and install insulation to the wall panels. + Install metal sheets to wall panels. + Install metal doors and other sub-components to the structure. + Use tape measures and squares to ensure assembly is done correctly. + Utilize prints, drawings, and work instructions to build structures. + Work on step stools and some ladders. + Work on your feet for the majority of the day. + Utilize overhead cranes and JIBB cranes to move large pieces of steel. + Lift up to 50 lbs repetitively. + Utilize some computers. + Hold measurements to a specific tolerance. + Complete assemblies within goal hours. + Keep work area clean. + Assist with training new employees. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 1 year experience with assembly or hand/power tools. + Minimum 2 years experience with tape measure, with the ability to read it accurately. + Proficient with blueprints, schematics, or work instructions. + Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00 • Medical, dental & vision • Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital • 401(k) Retirement Plan – Pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions available • Life Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D for the employee and dependents) • Short and long-term disability • Health Spending Account (HSA) • Transportation benefits • Employee Assistance Program • Time Off/Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave) **Workplace Type** This is a fully onsite position in Canton,OH. **Application Deadline** This position will be accepting applications until Dec 28, 2024. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
