Mechanical Commissioning Engineer – Data Centres – Gavle, Sweden

 

Our client is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. As an engineering-focused organization, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in our sector. We are currently constructing multiple Turnkey Data Centre Projects across Europe, equating to over 500 MW of IT load in flight.

We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join our team. This position will be based on-site in Gavle, Sweden.

 

Responsibilities

 

Oversee Mechanical Systems Commissioning: Manage and supervise the commissioning of mechanical systems, such as HVAC, chillers, pumps, and ventilation systems, ensuring they are installed, tested, and configured according to design specifications and operational requirements. Quality Control and Compliance: Ensure that all mechanical installations meet the required quality standards, industry regulations, and client specifications. Conduct inspections and tests to verify proper system functionality and compliance with safety codes. System Integration and Performance Testing: Perform performance testing of integrated mechanical systems to ensure optimal functionality, energy efficiency, and reliability. Identify and resolve any issues during testing to ensure systems meet required performance criteria. Coordinate with Project Teams: Work closely with the design, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure that all mechanical systems are aligned with project timelines and integration plans. Address and resolve any issues related to mechanical system design or installation. Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical system malfunctions or inefficiencies discovered during the commissioning process. Ensure quick and effective solutions to minimize delays and ensure systems operate as intended. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive records of all commissioning activities, including test results, inspections, adjustments, and any corrective actions taken. Prepare detailed commissioning reports for project managers, clients, and regulatory authorities.

 

Requirements

 

3+ Experience Commissioning Mechanical Packages on Data Centre builds or similar Large Construction projects preferred

Mechanical Degree or Equivalent Trades Background Required

European Passport or RTW in Netherlands Required

 

Benefits

€95,000-€100,000 per annum + Full rotational package
