Mechanical Design Engineer - Ride Simulation & Vehicle Design

Overview:

Seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to support a ride simulation platform, focusing on vehicle design, simulation, and testing for future attractions. This role involves integration with software platforms, prototyping, and testing to drive the development of next-generation ride systems.

Must-Haves:

7+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering.Expertise in vehicle design (critical requirement).Proficiency in SolidWorks for CAD modeling, parts/assemblies, and production drawings.Experience with simulation tools: Houdini, Maya.Strong mechanical modeling and design capabilities.Comfortable with software integration for simulation and testing.Hands-on experience in testing and iteration for prototyping and concept validation.

Preferred Experience:

Background in automotive, robotics, or attraction design.Knowledge of kinematic motion analysis, FEA, tolerance stack-up analysis, and actuator design.Experience working with fabrication vendors and manufacturing processes (sheet metal, weldment, plating, milling, etc.).Familiarity with Matlab, Simulink, or Python for engineering analysis.
