Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Westborough, MA

Job Description

We're looking for an outstanding mechanical design engineer who combines superb technical and analytical capabilities with a demonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively. This person will be responsible for developing 3D and 2D mechanical design and related analysis specifically for hardware tests for robotics. The ideal candidate will have a foundation in mechanical engineering suited for both prototype and production-level designs.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop 3D and 2D mechanical designs and conduct related analysis for flight critical avionics systems.Design mechanical assemblies for electronics.Engage in rapid prototype tooling.Manage projects effectively using engineering project management software.Collaborate with other team members to develop and execute test plans, and collect and analyze data.Essential Skills3-4 years of experience as a mechanical engineer Proficiency in MCAD software for 3D modeling and 2D drafting.Experience in designing mechanical assemblies for electronics.Experience with rapid prototype tooling.Strong communication and writing skills.
