Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer Job Description As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will participate in hands-on design using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. You will utilize the company's vault/design library, learning and following company standards to design from scratch to completion. The current workload includes projects with Diesel Engine manufacturers and other major OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers. Responsibilities + Participate in hands-on design using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. + Utilize the company's vault/design library and follow company standards to design automated washers from scratch to completion. + Work on various projects revolving around powertrain assembly and assembly equipment. + Provide engineering solutions as you design, including understanding and implementing GD&T tolerancing. + Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders. + Visit customer sites as required (up to 5% travel). Essential Skills + 8+ years of mechanical engineering/design experience within automation. + Proficiency in SolidWorks (both 3D and 2D versions). + Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D. + Experience in the automation space (preferably powertrain-related industrial washers and tool carriers). + Understanding of GD&T tolerancing. + Effective communication skills. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
