We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Mechanical Engineering team at our office in Jacksonville, FL. This position will be part of RQ's mechanical and plumbing engineering design development practices in all regions of work performed by RQ, in adherence to U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force and Army surveying, planning and RFP design standards. \n
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will work collaboratively to prepare project proposals, coordinate design work activities, and complete project designs.\n
Pay: 80k-100k\n

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:\n\nBachelor Science Mechanical Engineering Degree - Focus on HVAC and Plumbing Engineering\nWorking towards or has a P.E. license.\n3 to 5+ years of Mechanical (HVAC) \/ Plumbing design experience within a consulting firm.\nExperience with ASHRAE 90.1, 62.1 and 55.\nExperience with California Title 24 Energy Code.\nExperience with BIM and Revit essential.\nExperience with sustainable design desirable.\n\n
