Job Description
The Mechanical Design Engineer will design, develop, and improve existing designs and work on new designs. You should be able to move between different designs at a fast pace.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare calculations on machine design before manufacturing.Provide technical drawings for manufacturing.Develop designs for products to meet defined customer requirements/specifications, including making new or modifying existing designs.Provide support during the fabrication, welding, and assembly of designs.Prepare Bills of Materials and release paperwork for production.Essential SkillsProficiency in mechanical design and engineering.Experience with Inventor and CAD software.Ability to prepare Bills of Materials.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's Degree (BS) with 3-4 years of mechanical design experience within manufacturing.Associate Degree (AS) with 5-6 years of mechanical design experience within manufacturing.Work Environment
The design team consists of around 8 engineers, and the operations and machine shop have around 250 people. There is ample room for growth and exposure to full life cycle design, with everything done in-house.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00
