\t\t\t\t\tA Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for configuring, designing, and detailing blast and coating systems, as well as all associated subsystems. Systems will consist primarily of existing legacy products integrated with third-party and customer provided components to create a complete solution.Key Responsibilities:•\tInnovate and layout industrial blast and paint booths using Revit and SolidWorks.•\tCraft general arrangement and installation drawings with precision.•\tCollaborate closely with the sales team to develop winning proposals and competitive pricing.•\tCurate and update the Bill of Materials for each design phase.•\tLiaise with customers and third-party engineering firms to seamlessly integrate facility models with BlastOne models.•\tContribute to the continuous evolution of standard BlastOne equipment within the Engineering department.•\tEngage with customers, Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Electrical Engineers throughout all project phases to ensure alignment and satisfaction.•\tTake an active role in the Corrective Action process and drive continuous improvements in our products and designs.

\t\t\t\t\tMUST HAVEs•\tBSME• 3-5 years of experience using solidworks including working with laser scan generated point clouds.•\t1-2 years of Experience with the design and layout of industrial equipment and facilities.•\tUnderstanding of industrial plant operations and maintenance to help ensure systems can be efficiently installed and maintained in existing facilities a definite plus•\tUnderstand the various compliance requirements (OSHA 1910, NFPA 33 & 652, etc.) for our equipment and ensure that our delivered systems meet these requirements a definite plus•\tWorking knowledge of Revit architecture and building design software•\tWorking knowledge of SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM•\tWorking knowledge of industrial HVAC and ventilation design a definite plusEDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS •\tBSME from an ABET accredited university, preferred.JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES•\tMust be comfortable working in a fast-paced project environment with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and deadlines.•\tMust be able to demonstrate excellent organizational & critical thinking skills.•\tMust be able to demonstrate ability to effectively communicate at all levels.•\tMust be able to demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high quality drawings and documentation.COMPUTER SKILLS•\tMust be completely proficient with basic computer systems: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, etc. •\tMust be proficient with SolidWorks 3D•\tMust be completely proficient with Revit

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $57.69/hr.
