Below are some details about the position: + BENEFITS: YES + PAY: $38-52 an hour depending on experience + SCHEDULE/ENVIRONMENT: On-site Description: + Provide innovative design solutions for a wide variety of project types. + Creates new products and/or product enhancements to existing products. + Delivers on the project objectives while coordinating designs with product marketing, customer service, production, supply chain, accounting and other engineers and departments. + Support production activities at the production manufacturing location. + Keep current with technical advancements and worldwide regulations / standards. + Managing large scale projects from cradle to grave + Design new parts and models in Creo to be developed by manufacturing groups + Work with Engineering Admin to submit BOM into ERP + Work with Manufacturing team to bring Designs to life MUST HAVES: + 5+ Years 3D cad modeling (Solidworks or Creo experience) + 3+ years engineering in manufacturing environment + Ability to work in a fast paced environment on multiple projects in a team based manufacturing environment + Ability to communicate and break down project expectations to different teams + Willingness to go above and beyond and get things done NICE TO HAVES: + Sheet metal design experience (in Creo is a plus) + Bachelors Degree in Mechanical engineering or Mechanical Technology + CREO is ideal + New product development and large scale project experience Additional Skills & Qualifications + Sheet metal design experience (experience in Creo is a plus). + Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is ideal. + Experience in new product development and managing large-scale projects. Work Environment You will be working in a brand-new facility with a fast-paced work environment and a 'work hard, play hard' mentality. The team consists of 5-8 engineers within a company of 800 employees. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $52.88/hr.
