We are looking for a Design Engineer of mechanical hardware. In this role, you will be responsible for the engineering design of sold paint projects. These include the design, drawings, and part ordering for robotic paint systems. You are also responsible for the design of the robot layout, application equipment, and end of arm tooling. You must be a customer-focused problem-solver who enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams and offers professional solutions. Primary responsibilities will include * Design of the robot layout adhering to safety and customer specifications * Design of end of arm tooling * Design of robot application equipment * Enter required parts into ERP (Oracle) * Ability to meet project schedule * Ability to multitask projects (more than one project will be assigned at one time) * Occasional overnight travel to client sites as needed Ideal candidate will have the following experience and education * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology degree or equivalent relevant experience * 2+ years relevant industry experience * Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks Preferred * Prior industrial automation experience We offer market competitive pay and benefits programs, as well as opportunities for advancement, knowledge and skill development, and recognition of individual achievements.
