A Mechanical Design Engineer job is currently available at Belcan in West Palm Beach, FL. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits. Great matching candidates will have CAD design experience and a Bachelor"s Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline. In this job you will be developing and analyzing 2D and 3D CAD models of conceptual and production designs for jet engine components. This will require coordination with various groups, such as Aerodynamics, Manufacturing, Structures, Systems Integration etc. to facilitate flow of information and requirements to meet program needs.

Job Duties:
* Creation of CAD models
* Modiification of CAD models
* Design changes and modifications for weight/cost
* Producibility Evaluations
* Feasibility Studies
Vendor non-conformances
Tolerance Stackups

Required Qualifications:
* BS Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar discipline
* CAD Design Experience
* Skilled with Microsoft Office tools
* Some knowledge of structural analysis
* Self-motivated, adaptable, highly organized and excellent communication abilities
* Legal authorization to work in the US required

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
* NX CAD software and TeanCenter experience
* Interest in aviation and aerospace applications
* Experience with Web meetings
* SAP experience

Compensation:
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $65,000 to 76,960 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
