Description:You will be the Mechanical Design Engineer for the Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) program team. Our team is responsible for designing and developing innovative missile systems to support Enhanced Operational Capability (EOC) programs.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and releasing low-rate-production configuration item drawings and associated lists to support fabrication and procurement requirements. You will utilize your expertise to resolve complex design issues and drive the establishment of EOC Hardware requirements.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Creating and releasing engineering documents, including drawings and assembly parts lists
Generating solid models in CREO and performing tolerance analyses
Supporting Production Planning, Operations, and Global Supply Chain
Providing Material Review Board Engineering (MRBE) and Supplier Deviation Waivers support
Collaborating with Missile & Pod Integration teams in Camden, Arkansas

Basic Qualifications:
Experienced with Creo and PTC Windchill
Office tools experience
GD&T and Design/drawing experience
Desired Skills:
Experience with model based definition
Experience with hardware build, integration and
testing
Experience supporting suppliers, and transition
to production activities (Yield improvement,
producibility)
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
