This position allows for a hybrid work schedule with a mix of work spent in office and working remote from home. 

Perform various drafting/design tasks as a member of a project team under the direct supervision of the project design leadYou will have the opportunity to apply your computer-aided drafting skills, while receiving hands-on training in 3D design software environments, such as AutoCAD 3D and/or MicroStationAdditionally, you will receive training in Sargent & Lundy’s award-winning, industry-recognized proprietary 3d plant design platformYou will be involved in the preparation and completion of project documentsYou may accompany and assist experienced designers on walkdowns at client facilities to gather information for your design project While interfacing with the different design disciplines to coordinate over all plant design Qualifications

Essential skills and experience:

Be enrolled in college education in the field of drafting or industrial design.Basic knowledge of standard computer drafting tools (i.e. AutoCAD or MicroStation)Ability to visualize parts in 3D without the aid of the computerAbility to multi-task from various project duties asked to perform


Valued but not required skills and experience:

Experience using AutoCAD and MicroStation softwareKnowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of technical plans, drawings, and modelsKnowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology, including the ability to relate various equipment to a technical design
