Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components, products, and systems using CAD software. You will analyze and test prototypes, conduct research on product and system improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop mechanical components, products, and systems using CAD software.Analyze and test prototypes to ensure they meet quality, safety, and performance standards.Conduct research on product and system improvements and innovations, staying updated with the latest technology.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, manufacturing, and software engineers, to ensure successful project outcomes.Oversee manufacturing processes to ensure design specifications are met during production.Troubleshoot and resolve design, production, and testing issues.Essential SkillsProficiency in CAD software (such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks).Ability to diagnose issues and propose effective solutions.Strong organizational skills, with experience in managing project timelines.Effective at collaborating and communicating with interdisciplinary teams.Capable of interpreting data, performing calculations, and evaluating technical specifications.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.Two step onsite interview process.Work Environment
Work will be done fully onsite between our older and newer manufacturing facilities. Our company culture is excellent, with significant growth over the last 5+ years, and we are expanding into new markets, particularly with data centers taking off.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
