Actalent Services is seeking a Mechanical Designer/Drafter to join team.

About the Role: We are seeking a talented Mechanical Designer/Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma and at least 1 year of relevant work or educational experience. This role is perfect for recent graduates with an Associate’s Degree in related field.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilize computer-aided drafting (CAD) to create detailed technical drawings.Apply 3-D modeling techniques, with a preference for Inventor software. Proficiency in SolidWorks is also acceptable, with training provided.Interpret and read manufacturing drawings to ensure design constraints and product requirements are met.Use various software tools including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, AutoCAD 2019, and PDF (Nitro Pro).Participate in Zoom meetings and use scientific calculators and drafting equipment as needed.

Required Hard Skills:

Proficiency in computer-aided drafting.Expertise in 3-D modeling techniques.Familiarity with Inventor software (SolidWorks proficiency is also acceptable).Competence in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings.Knowledge of design constraints and product requirements.Experience with AutoCAD 2019 and PDF (Nitro Pro).Comfortable using Zoom, scientific calculators, and drafting equipment.
