Description: This position is a Solidworks Drafter and this person will be drafting Sheetmetal designs in solidworks for Sheetmetal units being produced on the manufacturing floor. This person will be working closely with machine operators on the manufacturing floor to ensure efficiencies of design. This person must have a passion for for drafting/design, manufacturing processes and a continuous improvement mindset. Qualifications - Proficiency using solidworks - Some college courses for CAD Drafting and Design - Some college courses for manufacturing processes Skills: Solidworks, Mechanical design, sheet metal design, punch press machines, laser, electrical enclosure Top Skills Details: Solidworks,Mechanical design,sheet metal design Additional Skills & Qualifications: Experience designing sheetmetal for manufacturing is a plus Experience designing electrical enclosures is a plus Experience with manufacturing equipment: nesting, laser, press brake machines would be a plus Experience Level: Entry Level About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
