Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Mechanical Designer to join our Project Delivery Group (PDG) in Brisbane.
PDG helps clients reach their business goals through a range of strong technical capabilities. We ensure world-class project delivery through the skills of our people, methodologies, governance, and systems. Our engineering and project management and construction disciplines ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable delivery of projects globally across the metals and mining, infrastructure, and energy sectors.

As the successful candidate, you will:
Perform conceptual layout work Perform the design and drafting of mechanical plant models using applicable standards, project technical specifications and enterprise or project procedures Prepare 3D equipment modelling and 3D design 3D design and modelling to meet company quality standards Develop engineering design details and special items drawings Use vendor drawings and information sheets to develop the model
You bring to the role:
Advanced Diploma of Engineering or equivalent (mechanical preferred) Solid mechanical design and modelling experience Ability to take instruction and work unsupervised Proficient in the use of 2D and 3D CAD systems Good communication and interpersonal skills BMH experience
