Job Summary: The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for mechanical design. The Mechanical Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing designs for mechanical systems, complex assemblies and products, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

•\tDevelop detailed design drawings and specifications for mechanical equipment, dies, and tools using CAD software.

•\tCollaborate with engineers, project managers, and other professionals to ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and meet all relevant regulations and standards.

•\tReview and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs.

•\tModify and revise designs to correct operating deficiencies or reduce production problems.

•\tCalculate mathematical formulas to develop detailed specifications for components or machinery.

•\tPosition instructions and comments onto drawings.

•\tDesign scale or full-size blueprints of specialty items such as furniture and window components.

•\tCheck dimensions of materials to be used and assign numbers to the materials.

•\tLay out and draw schematic, orthographic, or angle views to depict functional relationships of components, assemblies, systems, and machines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Qualifications:

•\tAssociate degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Drafting and Design, or a related field.

•\tProficiency in SolidWorks

•\tMinimum of 3 years of experience in a mechanical design role.

•\tStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

•\tExcellent communication and collaboration skills.

•\tAbility to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $40.87
