Mechanical Designer

Description

Work on multiple drawings and work with engineers

Working with top level drawings and building manufacturing drawings out

Designing sheet metal parts and welding. Plate, tubing, flanges, piping, elbows, wise (single outlet to double exhaust)

3D modeling

ECO is a big part of the position

Bill of materials

Working with NPI group and creating their drawing packs to send to the Applications engineer

Backup for quoting and order release

Driveworks --> helps with sizing and will produce sizing for silencers from other drawings

PDM workflow knowledge

Global shop solutions (ERP system)

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Associates degree

3+ years of solidworks design experience

Sheet metal fabrication

Manufacturing industry experience

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $75000.00
