Job Title: Mechanical DesignerJob Description Collaborate with the team to manage and execute upcoming projects supporting military trainings. Utilize CAD software (Inventor) for modeling and design tasks. Draft, model, and design mechanical components that will partake in weaponry simulation. Apply strong mathematical skills to engineering problems. Comfortable working with and around weaponry. Design custom machinery for material handling, automated systems, and robotic lines in future projects. Work hours are Monday to Friday, with shifts from 7-3:30 or 8-4:30. There is no travel required other than to local customer sites for future projects. The team consists of about 5 engineers, not including the owner. The work environment includes both office settings and customer shop visits. Opportunities to learn from multiple firms as an engineering consultant performing project-based work are available. The company offers one week of vacation and six holidays, with the possibility to negotiate additional vacation time. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
