Job Title: Mechanical Designer/Drafter Job Description We are currently sourcing for a Mechanical Drafter/Designer in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8+ years of mechanical drafting experience with AutoCAD from a systematic approach. Experience in pressure vessels is highly desirable. Responsibilities + Develop detailed designs and drawings using AutoCAD. + Draft and design mechanical systems, including pressure vessels. + Create and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and material specifications. + Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to ensure designs meet specifications and standards. + Generate and update assembly drawings and generator designs. + Ensure all drawings comply with ASME standards. Essential Skills + 8+ years of mechanical design/drafting experience. + 8+ years of experience with AutoCAD/CAD 2D. + Experience with system engineering. + Pressure vessel design experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Knowledge of ASME standards. + Experience with generators. + Strong understanding of material properties and BOM management.
