Job Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Designer to support the development of 2D or 3D models of components for industrial equipment, including documenting part specifications. The candidate will be responsible for designing assemblies and creating models.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop 2D and 3D models of components using CAD software (Inventor or Solidworks preferred).Document part specifications for all components.Design assemblies and create detailed models.Convert 2D and 3D drawings in Inventor or Solidworks.Work with documentation and Bills of Materials (BOMs).Create engineering prints for manufacturing.Essential SkillsProficiency in 2D/3D CAD software (Inventor or Solidworks preferred).Mechanical design and drafting experience.Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.2-year CAD degree or equivalent experience.Experience working with documentation and BOMs.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in schematic design is a plus.Knowledge of the automotive industry.Experience with sheet metal design.Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.Work Environment
This role is based in an office on the manufacturing floor where you will be specifying physical products. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in the automotive and regulated industries, making it an excellent resume builder for junior candidates.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00
