Overview **Candidates can work from any TRC office within the EST or CST time zones** TRC is a global consulting firm providing environmentally advanced and technology-powered solutions for the oil and gas, power and infrastructure industry. TRC has nearly 7,000 employees in over 150 countries. We are currently seeking Level 3 Designers with Oil - Gas Facility Mechanical design experience. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in preparing drawings and documentations in the oil and gas industry, and must be proficient in AutoCad and CadWorx. Additionally, experience with an engineering consulting firm is highly desirable. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and in a team. Responsibilities Review vendor data for correctness and utilize information in design development. Lead in drafting and updating comprehensive project plans. Create detailed and complex AutoCAD drawings. Produce complete 3D models for small stations and equipment utilizing CadWorx Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. Review and check designs for compliance with standards. Coordinate with other design disciplines. Train and mentor junior designers. Communicate project progress to clients. Manage medium-sized projects. Ensure all designs adhere to safety regulations. Interface with project engineers. Qualifications Associate's Degree or Certificate in CAD, Drafting or Design from an accredited vocational school, college or university. Management may consider other education and work experience to be acceptable for appointment to this position. 10+ years of experience using AutoCAD and CadWorx software for Oil and Gas Mechanical design Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations for the Oil and Gas industry Knowledge of Mechanical materials and equipment commonly used in Oil and Gas facilities Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, schematics, and specifications Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well in a team environment, as well as independently Proficient in AutoCAD, CadWorx, Microsoft Excel, Teams, Word Preferred Qualifications: Prior Engineering Consulting Experience MicroStation, ProjectWise Disclaimers TRC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
