**Location:** Las Vegas, NV, 89115, United States **Workdays:** Monday to Friday **Work Hours:** 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM (Flexible Lunch Break) **Pay Rate:** $19.00 per hour Are you ready to make a meaningful impact and join a team that drives progress and innovation? We are seeking a **Mechanical Diesel Technician** to join our team in Las Vegas, NV. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the remanufacturing and repair of locomotive traction motor components, ensuring quality and reliability for global transportation solutions. **Position Overview** The **Remanufacturing Service Technician** will be responsible for disassembling, assembling, inspecting, repairing, and testing locomotive traction motor components. The role requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. **Key Responsibilities** + Perform work in compliance with all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs and policies. + Disassemble machinery and equipment to inspect, repair, and reassemble parts. + Use manual and automated production equipment, hydraulic, and pneumatic tools to complete manufacturing tasks. + Inspect components to ensure compliance with quality and engineering standards using precision measuring tools and testing protocols. + Operate forklifts and overhead cranes in accordance with OSHA guidelines. + Document each step of the process and maintain compliance with internal requirements. + Participate in 5S initiatives and continuous improvement activities to enhance production efficiency. + Train team members on procedures and contribute to a cooperative work environment. **Qualifications** **Required:** + High School Diploma or GED. + At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment. **Preferred:** + Associate's Degree or Technical Certification. + Knowledge of EHS procedures and policies. + Experience using inspection measurement tools and equipment. + Ability to lift and handle tools/materials up to 50 lbs. + Forklift and overhead crane operation experience. + Strong communication and teamwork skills. **Why Join Us?** This is more than just a job—it’s an opportunity to contribute to innovative solutions that move and improve the world.
