\t\t\t\t\tLooking for a Drafter to design and prepare detailed drawings of RF Shielded Enclosures & Anechoic Chambers including plans for Architectural, MEP and Structures according to specifications provided by clients.Responsibilities:•\tDraw rough and detailed scale plans for modular components and structures based on preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets and other data.•\tOperate computer drafting equipment such as AutoCad, SolidWorks etc. to produce modular designs, working drawings, shop drawings, shipping list, charts and forms as required.•\tProduce detail, layout and assembly drawings, using AutoCAD and SolidWorks so the designed equipment can be manufactured in a logical order and in a production friendly manner.•\tAnalyze critical interface between components and designs for appropriate assembly.•\tPrepare material shipping lists projects and manage revision levels.•\tMaintain and update CAD drawings to reflect changes and modifications in existing projects.•\tWork directly with engineers and project managers to determine the most logical and cost effective designs to meet requirements.•\tOrder materials required to meet job requirements.•\tExamine engineering drawings and bills of material of structural components, assemblies, and installations to ensure accuracy, adherence to design standards, and detect errors in design.•\tMay act as a “checker” of others, carefully examining drawings, details, and shipping list minimize omissions and errors.•\tDetail and check small to large projects. Be able to take a project from start to finish. Can detail and check any size project with speed and accuracy.•\tMust be able to perform at a high level to maintain project schedules and requires minimum checking and minimum supervision.•\tTrack and manage drafting hours per project and report to Drafting Manager any overages or variances as required.•\tAbility to change from one job to another job on short notice as projects require.

\t\t\t\t\t•\t2 year associates degree•\tAt least 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment creating 3D and 2D models and drawings.•\tExperience in drafting and modeling for multiple trades including architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection and electrical based designs from engineers and architects.•\tProficient in AutoCad and SolidWorks•\tKnowledge of ASME codes & Standards•\tGood organizational and planning skills•\tStrong oral and written communication skills•\tAble to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently•\tAccurate and precise attention to detail•\tAble to analyze problems and strategize for better solutionsmechanical aptitudeproficient in SolidworksArchitectural/structural drafting experience is a plusAny previous experience with shielding is a huge plus
