Job Title: Mechanical DrafterJob Description We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Drafter to join our team. The primary responsibilities of this role include taking redline drawings of HVAC duct and piping layouts and integrating them into existing 3D models created by various architectural firms. You will also be setting up 2-dimensional sheets for printing the duct design, ensuring the final product is well-organized with title blocks. Responsibilities + Take redline drawings of HVAC duct and piping layouts and integrate them into existing 3D models created by various architectural firms. + Set up 2-dimensional sheets for printing the duct design, ensuring the final product is well-organized with title blocks. + Perform all work in an office 5 days a week with flexible start and end times, as well as flexible lunch breaks. + Set up HVAC views in Revit to incorporate redlines into the Revit model. + Set up views in Revit and place them on sheets for printing, which will be redlined by others. Essential Skills + Proficiency in Revit + Experience in mechanical design, specifically with HVAC systems and piping + Ability to work with BIM (Building Information Modeling) + Willingness to ask questions and take direction Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in mechanical design + Knowledge of HVAC systems and piping Work Environment The role is based in an office environment with flexible hours, allowing for adjustments to core work hours as needed. You will be working with a small team of six engineers, each with their own office area. The office does not have an open floor plan. Our firm values teamwork and ensures that no one works alone on overtime; if overtime is necessary, the entire team contributes to complete the task efficiently. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $36.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
