Job Title: Mechanical Drafter
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will take redline drawings of HVAC duct and piping layouts and integrate them into existing 3D models created by various architectural firms. This role involves setting up 2D sheets for printing and organizing drawing sheets with title blocks. The work is performed in-office five days a week, with flexible start and end times, as well as flexible lunch breaks.

ResponsibilitiesIntegrate redline drawings of HVAC duct and piping layouts into existing 3D models.Set up 2D sheets for printing HVAC duct designs, ensuring drawing sheets are well-organized with title blocks.Perform work in-office five days a week with flexible start and end times and lunch breaks.Set up HVAC views in Revit for incorporating redlines into the Revit model.Create views in Revit and place them on sheets for printing HVAC ductwork and piping to be redlined by others.Essential SkillsProficiency in Revit.Experience in mechanical design, specifically with HVAC systems and piping.Ability to ask questions and take direction effectively.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in Building Information Modeling (BIM).Work Environment

The position is based in an office with a flexible schedule, allowing core work hours to be adjusted as needed. The team consists of six engineers, and each person has their own office area, avoiding an open floor plan. The firm values team effort and collaborative work, ensuring no individual works overtime alone. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $36.00
