Job Title: Mechanical Drafter
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in modeling, a deep understanding of mechanics, and proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD software. This role requires someone who is humble, open to feedback, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
•\tModeling: Create detailed 3D models of mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks.
•\tDrafting Drawings: Produce accurate and detailed technical drawings for manufacturing and assembly.
•\tDimensioning: Apply precise dimensions to drawings to ensure proper fit and function of components.
•\tAssembly: Utilize SolidWorks tools to simulate and verify the assembly process of mechanical parts.
Qualifications:
•\tEducation and Experience:
•\tassociate degree OR BACHELORS degree in related field: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
•\tWithout a degree: 3-4 years of relevant experience.
Technical Skills:
•\tProficiency in SolidWorks and CAD software.
•\tStrong understanding of mechanical principles and mechanisms.
•\tAbility to create and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Soft Skills:
•\tGood at accepting criticism and open to feedback.
•\tHumble and willing to learn.
•\tAbility to work quickly and efficiently.
Nice to Have:
•\tStandards Knowledge: Understanding of ASME 14.1 standards.
•\tDrawing Techniques: Knowledge of best practices in drafting and drawing techniques.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00
