In the role of Mechanical Design Coordinator, we'll count on you to: Conduct analyses to develop design options or recommendations and assist in the preparation of construction documents and specifications. Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures. Perform routine mechanical engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures Write and edit mechanical specifications, and select mechanical systems and devices Utilize engineering software to develop HVAC loads, energy analysis and mechanical equipment selections Prepare construction documents for HVAC and plumbing design of buildings, including drawings, specifications and reports Work independently on small projects, or assist more-senior engineers on larger projects Perform other duties as neededPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical EngineeringEngineer in Training (EIT) certificateCandidates hired without their EIT will have the title of "Coordinator" and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.Proficiency in MS Office and RevitCommercial/institutional experience in healthcare a plusPrevious experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firmAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustRequired Qualifications
