Job DescriptionPicoma Industries, a division of Zekelman Industries, located in Cambridge, OH, is currently seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance reporting to the plant manager. This position is primarily responsible for inspecting, repairing, installing, and maintaining all electrical and mechanical equipment within the plant and grounds.
Ideal candidates will have one or more years of experience in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance in a manufacturing/industrial setting. Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
Ensuring operation of machinery and electrical equipmentRoutine (as well as preventative) maintenance of machineryTroubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues within a wide variety of machines ranging from relay logic to PLC and CNC controlsWorking with hand and/or power equipment in a manufacturing settingFabricating and repairing partsEnsuring all proper safety procedures are followedOperate mobile equipment and overhead cranesOther duties as assigned by managementPrepare daily maintenance and preventative maintenance reportsRequired Skills/Abilities:
Machine shop skills including surface grinder, lathe, and drill press a plus1+ years industrial experience strongly preferredUnderstanding and work on robotic equipment a plusGood work history (references required)Proven mechanical aptitude needed for the desired positionAbility to work shift workHigh School diploma/GED requiredPosition requires post offer drug/physical/background checkAttention to detail, dependability, professionalism, and a great work ethicLegally authorized to work in the US without sponsorshipRegular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this roleLead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policyPhysical Requirements:
